**What you will do**
The HVAC Business Development Manager will be responsible for **driving business growth of the YORK HVAC Installation sales department, with the objective of increasing the commercial penetration and generating qualified opportunities within the industrial market.
**
**How you will do it**
- Targets opportunities within the industrial customers that translate into profitable growth
- Develops, communicates, and implements a comprehensive plan to grow the YORK brand across the industrial customers
- **Deals directly with potential industrial customers within the Italian market**:
- Understands the customer needs and works to align them with YORK products and services
- Designs sustainable solutions based on customer needs and team direction and strategies
- Develops energy savings opportunities and provide consistent solutions for the customers
- Manages the development of projects together with the Sales Area Managers and the technical support team
- Manages the development of compelling business cases for the proposed scopes of work
- Seeks for York/Johnson Controls to become the preferred supplier of HVAC equipment of the assigned market
- Partners with other sales teams to maximize profit generation and cross selling opportunities
- Keeps up to date with products and competitors
- Creates development plans and forecasting sales targets and growth projections
- Reports sales figures for management
- Grows and updates regularly the pipeline
- Reports punctually to his manager
- Prepares sales presentations and participates in sales meetings
**What we look for**
Required
- Technical knowledge to degree level or equivalent experience
- **High level of creation of new accounts and opportunities **.
- Strong communicator with a proven track record of developing sales within the industrial environment.
- Sales experience within the industrial market and a proven track record
- Excellency in verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in engineering, construction, and facility operations, with excellent knowledge of building-related systems and services
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent customer-facing skills
- Ability to travel up to 40 - 50%
- Proficient in Italian and English
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g.
Mechanical, Energy, Industrial)
- Experience with healthcare, data center, Life science, Packaging, food&beverage vertical markets
