We are currently looking for a HV System Engineer (E-mobility) to support one of our projects in Piedmont/Liguria. Responsibilities:The HV System Engineer is accountable for high voltage architecture, system & component requirements and the relative validation test plan, testing procedure and qualification for prototyping and Proof of concept solution.
Principal subjects: HV components functions, HV architectures, HV components E/E integration, project management, planning, risk assessment and management, tracking.
About YouKnowledge on high voltage components functionalities and HW specificationsDefine the performance and quality requirement at component levelDefine the high voltage component validation planAnalyse and tracing the component testing results in line with the validation planDefinition of the electric and electronic interfaces in collaboration with the suppliers and other team members for specific HV componentsSuppliers' selection and managementBasic knowledge on the Homologation requirements especially at component levelGood knowledge on the electro-mechanical systemsAttitude to work on different agricultural construction machinery applications and agricultural equipmentBasic knowledge on the functional safety (ISO25119, ISO26262, ISO13849 and ISO15998) and safety culture in general (risks identification and analysis)Knowledge of V-Model development process, phases and gatesKnowledge of electric and hybrid driveline architecturesKnowledge of electronic circuits and understanding of electric and electronic schematicsBasic knowledge in CAN bus network management (Standard SAE J1939 / CAN 2.0B / Standard SAE J1939DA, ISO 11783-ISOBUS) and LIN communication protocolComputer skills:Windows operating systemsMicrosoft Office tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Microsoft OutlookMicrosoft ProjectProfessional tools skills: MS Visual Studio, Polarion (or any other equivalent application lifecycle development tool).Nice To HaveDegree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Automation Engineering, or related disciplineProven working experience or attitude in the requested positionUtilize established development tools, methodologies guidelines and proceduresKnowledge on the automotive and off-road machinery Safety Standard for electric and hybrid vehicles (ISO, SAE, ECE, AEF, IEC…)Attitude to manage and report troubles and open issues at component levelBasic knowledge in components diagnosticKnowledge on the component FMEA and system FMEACapacity to create both the risk and the contingency planCreate, maintain and store the test results (data management)Capacity to identify bugs and promote the relative corrective action planExperience on vehicle ECU's application: flashing of the SW and diagnosisExperience on components test benches: management, execution and planningAvailable for working sessions out of the usual working place and according to the location of the vehicle's development siteExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishJob DetailsLocation: Piedmont/LiguriaStart date: July 2024Next StepsSomeone from the Talent Acquisition department will contact you to schedule an initial HR interview.If successful, a second interview will be conducted to validate your technical knowledge.In case of a positive outcome from the technical interview, there will be a last qualification meeting with the Client.If the final outcome is positive, we will discuss our proposal with you.
