In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing training programs aimed at enhancing the skills and performance of our staff.
Your focus will be on developing a culture of learning that aligns with JW Marriott's luxury standards.Key Responsibilities:Design and deliver training programs that meet the resort's service standards and goals.Conduct needs assessments and coordinate with department heads to schedule training sessions.Manage the learning calendar and monitor the effectiveness of training programs.Collaborate with external providers to bring specialized skills into the resort.Lead onboarding and orientation sessions for new hires, introducing them to company culture and procedures.Support staff career development by creating personalized growth plans and promoting continuous learning.Ensure training programs comply with industry standards and maintain accurate training records.Organize workshops, seminars, and team-building activities, handling all logistical aspects.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Education, or a related field.Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a training or learning development role, preferably within the hospitality industry.Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS).Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.Fluency in English and Italian is required; additional languages are a plus.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing needs.Marriott International is an equal-opportunity employer.
