The Brattle Group, a privately held, global economics consulting firm, is looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join our London, UK or Rome, IT office.
The Human Resources Specialist will support colleagues in our five European offices on HR matters, with a focus on Employee Experience and Talent Acquisition.
This position will work with all members of the HR team and reports to the Senior Human Resources Business Partner (SHRBP) with a dotted line to the Director of Talent Acquisition.
Some of the day-to-day responsibilities of this role include:
- Provide professional and timely support and guidance to two business units on all HR-related matters including workplace relations, performance management or absence management issues
- Manage the on-boarding and off-boarding experience for the relevant population, which includes analysing trends and provide recommendations to enhance the employee experience and Brattle's culture
- Update and maintain the HR Information System data and employee e-files
- Monitor employment-related legislation and flag opportunities for existing policies to be reviewed and/or edited or new policies to be developed
- Review and update job descriptions in partnership with Group/Practice Leads
- Partner with the relevant stakeholders to establish hiring targets for consulting staff
THE CANDIDATE
- Bachelor's Degree required; CIPD Certification is a plus
- 4+ years' experience, working in Human Resources, ideally in a Professional Services firm; previous recruiting experience is essential
- Knowledge of the UK Employment Laws
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel)
- Experience with HRIS systems
- Fluency in English needed, with a working knowledge of French, German, Spanish or Italian is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a time sensitive environment and with a strong attention to detail
- Perform duties of a confidential nature
- Evening/weekend work may be required
