POSITION OVERVIEW The HR Manager leads the HR function of Aman Rosa Alpina and oversees all HR related topics. Furthermore, the HR Manager should be a highly resourceful leader and team-player, who is comfortable working in a diverse environment, sometimes under pressure and high demands, while remaining flexible, proactive, approachable and efficient. The role reports into the General Manager, and will advise management team on strategic staffing plans, compensation, benefits, training and development, performance management, budget, and labor relations. RESPONSIBILITIES HR Operation Work closely with the General Manger on the overall People Development strategies of Aman Rosa Alpina.Ensure that HR operations policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to and continually improved.Mange all activities concerning the sourcing and recruitment, performance management, employee discipline & administration.Supervise and coordinate all matters of work permits and visas.Learning and Development Work with heads of department to identify training needs for all levels/departments in the Resort.Develop training programmes and initiatives in line with Aman Service Standards and ExperiencesOversee trainings on property and manages staff development activitiesCompensation and Benefits Participates in quarterly pay equity analysis; reviewing reports and surface issues needing resolutions with the General ManagerEnsure the compensation and benefits are aligned to the luxury market.In conjunction with the General Manager, creates and implements total compensation packages and offers, particularly recognition and incentive programs directed towards property prioritiesImplement corporate policies and put in place local policies and procedure for salaries, benefits and incentives. Employee Communication Manage communication of key messages, business strategies, vision & values to all colleagues.Promote colleague communication activities and channels to encourage and enable feedback from them.Ensure employee grievances, disciplinary procedures are monitored and follow the correct procedure.Lead the implementation of employee recognition schemes.HR System Be responsible for the accurate maintenance of information used in the HR information system including payroll, personal details, leaves and attendance.Employee Accommodation and Transportation Supervise and coordinate all matters of colleague accommodation, facilities and transport. QUALIFICATIONS Proven background and progression in Human Resources with a current level of HR ManagerKnowledge of Italian employment lawExperience of Learning and Development is an advantageHighly skilled in problem analysis, problem solving and decision makingMust possess strategic vision and be able to think outside the box. This role involves questioning current practices and working with stakeholders to establish better ways of working for gaps identifiedAbility to lead, motivate and develop colleaguesMust possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing skills in English and an ability to communicate at all levels including Ownership and Corporate Executive TeamFinancially savvy with the ability to improve the bottom lineInnovative and well versed with technology and new efficient ways of working, which helps take Human Resources to the next levelUniversity degree or Diploma in HR Management desirable
