The Position
For our HR Country Team in Italy we are looking for a:
Human Resources Administration
Reporting to Country HR Manager Italy
Location: Avezzano
Duration: 4 months fixed term with possibility of extension
Job summary:
Assists and supports the HR Specialist in managing the key tasks of the human resources function for a given scope (5 operation sites: Avezzano, Massa Carrara, Monte Sparau, Civita Castellana, Modena), under supervision of the HR Country Manager with respect to the guidelines of HR function and Procedures of Imerys Group.
Key Tasks
Ensure payroll preparation by providing relevant data (unpaid leave, seniority, etc.)
Maintain the accuracy of HR systems data through monthly checks
Handle times and absences management
Handle work and living permits for foreign employees in line with the local legislation
Prepare work contracts
Manage the onboarding process for new employees
Prepare internal reports, such as headcount reports and statistics
Update the personnel folders
Management of day by day HR Administration activities providing certificates, declarations and other documents upon personnel needs and requests
Contact with social insurances for illnesses, accidents, maternity leaves, etc.
Ensure the application of local laws/company procedures for work environment/safety
Keep updated the internal training & development records
Background and Key competencies
BSc. degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Finance or equivalent
Proven working experience as HR specialist
Experience acquired in an industrial/manufacturing environment
Fluent in both Italian and English
Excellent knowledge of current Italian labour rules and regulations
Good interpersonal skills, empathetic with the ability of flexible approach to different internal customers
Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize regularly. A high degree of personal judgement is required.
Ability to understand the organization needs and motivation of people and combine this towards business realistic development plan
