What you will do tesa is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our European HR team as a Junior Coordinator for an important European HR/Payroll project. This role will provide valuable support to HR colleagues of the Europe Team and Project Management Team during the implementation of a new payroll setup across European countries. The intern will gain hands-on experience in payroll processes, system implementation, and project management in an international environment, making this an excellent opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in HR / payroll or project management.
This position provides flexibility and the person will report to the Head of HR Operation Excellence Europe. This is a full-time internship position for a duration of 12 months.
Place of work: Milan
The role can be carried out as a hybrid role with 3 days per week in the office. We offer a paid internship of €1,000 per month and free canteen.

Position content (core accountabilities, strategic responsibilities, key activities): Assist the HR Manager and project management team in all phases of the payroll change implementation project. Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition from the existing payroll system to the new one. Support the local HR colleagues in the actions necessary to ensure the correct transfer of data from current vendors to the new one ensuring high quality in the data collection and timely actions. Assist local HR colleagues and project management team in the configuration and testing of the new payroll system. The final purpose is to have accuracy and compliance with local regulations. Support & promote the harmonization of the payroll process that should result in a well-understood process with clear R&R for all the stakeholders (e.g employees, HR, vendor, Finance). Support the creation and delivery of training materials and sessions to train HR and employees on the new payroll process. Collect and analyze feedback from end-users to identify areas for improvement and address any issues that may arise during the implementation process. Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and project management team as needed. What you will need Recently pursued a degree in Economics, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English + intercultural and international mindset. Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data effectively. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills. Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with HR colleagues and Project management team in an international environment. Proactive mindset and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
