For our own projects, we are looking for: HTRI DESIGNER Ref code: CR_2405-132_HTRI Designer Job summary MISSION: Responsible for creating detailed thermal designs and simulations using HTRI software, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
TASKS: Utilize HTRI software to design and simulate heat exchangers and other heat transfer equipment for EPC projects in the Petrochemical industry. Perform thermal analysis and optimization to ensure efficient and reliable performance of heat transfer systems. Prepare detailed design calculations, datasheets, and specifications for heat transfer equipment. Develop fabrication, installation, and general arrangement drawings based on thermal design outputs. Work closely with process engineers, mechanical engineers, and other project stakeholders to integrate thermal design requirements into overall project designs. Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and technical discussions to ensure alignment and resolve any design-related issues. Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry codes, standards, and client specifications. Conduct quality checks and reviews of thermal designs and engineering documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project requirements. Maintain organized documentation and records of design calculations, revisions, and project deliverables. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. 6+ years of proven experience in the role within Petrochemical or Chemical industry, with specific experience in EPC projects. Proficiency in using HTRI software for heat transfer design and simulation. Strong understanding of heat transfer principles, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics. Fluent level of written and spoken language. Knowledge of Italian would be an advantage. OTHER DETAILS: Job Location: Milan, Italy; Contract Duration: 1 year; Starting date: July 2024.
