HSSE OFFICERResponsibilities:Plan and develop the health, safety and environmental strategies of the company;Organize and coordinate all training in safety and environmental aspects;Ensure suitable protective equipment is given to workers and that such policy is being maintained and followed;Carry out adequate risk assessments as and when required;Keep up to date with new legislation and health, safety, and environmental standards;Maintain and update the plans and procedures for emergency response;Carry out necessary controls of safety procedures in all departments;Monitor operations and ensure safety protocols are adhered to;Meet company health and safety goals;Other job duties emanating from the role.Minimum Requirements:Certification in Occupational Health and Safety;At least 2 years of experience in related field;Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety;Fluent spoken and written English; Italian would be an asset;Great attention to detail.
