**Job Summary**
We are looking for an HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) Site Lead, at our Porto St Elpidio Italian facility to be responsible for leading all HSE for the site.
**Duties and responsabilities**
- Actively participates on site leadership team in the areas of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Strategic Plan (STRAP), Corp. HSE&F governance, auditing, management systems, best practice exchanges, compliance initiatives and governmental/regulatory reporting.
- Preparation and implementation of the site annual HSE&F compliance action plan.
- Successfully integrates HSEF processes with site operations through the Honeywell HSE Management System.
- Lead elements of the ISO-based HSE management system and identify and execute on opportunities to improve it
- Manage data entry of events into the Management System Tool and escalation to leadership
- Utilize HSE tools to assess risk, identify compliance obligations and develop compliance tasks
- Produce dashboards and reports to monitor and measure performance and drive action
- Fulfils a leadership role in coordinating successful implementation of HSE&F processes to achieve world class results and drives ISO 45001 certification.
- Conducts regular inspections, audits and assessments to evaluate the site's performance in relation to Company HSE&F directive(s), protocols, guidelines and country or government regulations.
- Develops and maintains procedures to ensure compliance to all local, country and company requirements.
- Develops working relationships with local regulatory agencies and serves as the site point of contact for all regulatory agency inspections and inquiries e.g., HSE, EPA, Local Council.
- Develops and assist in conducting HSE&F training to site personnel (including induction for all new employees) and support the maintenance training records.
- Interprets existing and proposed changes regarding occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
- Provides coaching and development to site leadership in the areas of HSE&F.
- Provides HSE&F technical expertise to site personnel and participates as HSE&F technical expert.
- Reports and communicates incidents and accidents per the corporate protocol, and if applicable HSE reporting.
- Develops and implements site emergency response plans and serves as the emergency coordinator for events.
- Supports site level root cause incident investigations.
- Assists in developing and implementing corrective actions to resolve HSE&F issues and tracks action items to closure.
- Submits monthly/quarterly/annual reports as per Site and company requirements.
- Assists Site leadership in establishing objectives and metrics in alignment with company HSE&F goals and initiatives.
- Manages expenditures in accordance with budgetary process and manages site HSE&F projects to budget.
- Organises and chairs the safety representative meetings.
**Qualification and skills**
**_Required Skills_**
- Proficiency in Italian and English language
- 5 years' experience with HSE programs and regulatory compliance programs
- Certification in Health, Safety, Environmental, Industrial hygiene or related discipline.
- Comprehensive experience in Health, Safety, Environmental and/or Facilities.
- Experience in a manufacturing or related environment
- Must have management experience.
- Experience with ISO 18001, ISO 45001 or ISO 14001 preferred.
- Comprehensive and technical knowledge of the following aspects is essential: ergonomics, safety engineering, occupational medicine, occupational hygiene, behaviour-based safety, Environmental permitting, waste characterizations, Hazardous waste regulations, HSE&F Auditing and a clear understanding and interpretation of HSE laws and regulations.
- Self-motivated with Strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge in applicable Health, Safety and Environmental regulations as well as knowledge and experience in developing HSE Management Systems.
- Ability to prioritize and manage several projects at one time which producing successful outcomes.
- Self-motivated individual with ability to communicate and implement various HSE&F processes at all levels of organization.
- Ability to recognize strategic opportunities and focus HSE&F resources to align with and meet critical business needs.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS office and HSE&F systems.
- Ability to provide hands-on assistance to operations in the area of HSE compliance.
