Partner with the best This is a fixed-term contract opportunity based in Florence. As the HSE Lead dedicated to the Florence repair shop, you will act as HSE Lead and manage the day-to-day activity on the site being HSE frontline. You will partner with the Operation Leaders and team to reduce and manage risks associated with operations. You will directly report to the GTS Regional HSE Leader and have a dotted report to the HSE Campus (RSPP). Furthermore, you will be accountable for strengthening our interdependent HSE culture.
In this role you will be:
Responsible for HSE Risk Assessment and Management process implementation partnering with HSE leadership and operations to identify areas of improvement and ensure these are captured with a continuous improvement approach.Responsible for identifying and eliminating conditions that could lead to Fatalities and Permanent Impairment (FPI).Ensure the timely and accurate closure of incident investigations, together with developing and implementing an action plan for prevention and continuous improvement.Follow-up on the implementation of the existing HSE System and elaborate, based on event learnings and leadership input, programs on how to continuously improve it.Responsible for leading Learning team / self-assessment / internal audit / local regulation HSE compliance / concern IDEAS / PUWER assessment.Support Campus HSE (RSPP) in assuring compliance with local laws and internal policies.Support the Safety Talks deployment and management of Concerns/IDEAS.Responsible for JSA revision / Non-Routine activities Risk Assessment.Responsible for Management of Change (MOC) follow-up.Responsible for environmental sampling (air emissions, water discharge, noise).Support HSE Digital tool management and the organization to learn from Normal Operations.Act as Life Saving Rules (LSR) reference point on the shop floor.Responsible for Contractors HSE Oversight and HSE Supervision.Support the GTS Regional HSE in developing and implementing HSE programs, surveillance, and monitoring HSE performance, focusing on continuous improvement.Collaborate with the GTS HSE team dedicated to the repair shop globally in the HSE programs implementation.Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will:
Be familiar with HSE operations.Have knowledge of HSE management systems, Local HSE regulations, and widely used International standards.Have ASPP qualification.Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills.Be able to communicate fluently in Italian and English.Have good teamwork, mediation, relationship-building, and influencing skills.Have a minimum of 7 years of experience in similar roles.Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
