**Your role & mission**:
Reporting functionally both into the Group HES Coordinator, located in France, and to the Plant Manager located in Italy, the site EHS coordinator is in charge of ensuring all regulatory and corporate requirements concerning health, safety and environment are met, both for the Italian site and the customers' sites during installation and maintenance activities. The role is expected to collect process and deliver information relevant for the life of the company and all the employees, communicating transversally across different functions and both internal and external stakeholders. The role has a deep understanding of complex bodies of regulations, of drafting, updating and enforcing policies, programs and protocols, is accustomed to running thorough investigations, deploying initiatives to ensure safety is an actionable priority, always nurturing and promoting a culture of safety at all levels.
**Your scope & daily tasks**:
- Contribute to the definition of the objectives and annual action plan for the prevention of environmental, health and safety risks.
- Carry out a review of the EHS processes to be implemented in relation to management and operations.
- Participate in risk analyses for products and projects.
- Define appropriate EHS training for employees in coordination with the HR department.
- Contribute to the maintenance of ISO 45001, 14001 certifications.
- Implement continuous improvement methodology and processes within existing EHS standards (8D report).
- Act as a consultant during installation and commissioning phases for operational teams in terms of EHS.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with EHS laws and regulations, take initiatives and follow up on necessary changes and keep management updated.
- Support the legal department in all EHS compliance matters and maintain professional relations with the relevant authorities. Ensure that all regulatory reporting requirements are in place and that the appropriate action plan is defined and implemented.
- Ensure the follow-up on safety observations, near misses and incident reporting, RCA and corrective actions. Prepare communications to management and employees to create awareness and improve the safety culture.
- Organise EHS preventive actions (e.g. 1/4 hour safety, EHS training courses).
- Carry out regular emergency safety drills at the site.
- Key point of contact in case of local crisis management.
**Your profile**:
- Master degree in engineering, focus on HSE and technical orientation is considered a plus
- Italian native speaker with business/fluent English is a mandatory requirement, a third language among German and French is considered a plus;
- Understanding of UNI EN ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001.
- Understanding of all regulations and framework relevant for a compliant site in all EHS regards, and all relevant bodies and third party agencies.

Remote / in-presence: hybrid framework (40/60)
Remuneration: 35.000-45.000 €
Variable part: MBO 10% + profit sharing plan
Travel requirement: occasional business trips of modest duration in Eruopean locations.
