About the Business
Our Destination Management servies form the core of our business. Together with our destination experts, our sales and account management teams generate business by partnering with our customers (Tour Operators, Travel Agencies) to shape exciting itineraries suited to their traveler's needs. We take care of everything from ground support, hotel bookings, sightseeing, restaurants, and local guides; all while providing 24/7 customer support so that travelers from over 50 countries can enjoy memorable travel experiences worry free.
About the Role
We are currently offeringan effective generalist HR Supportfor all Managers & Employees in Rome office.
The candidate will:
Be responsible for the Recruitment, Employee Experience and HRIS function in Italy.
This role reports directly to the HR Executive.
Key Activities:
HR Recruitment and onboarding
Creates job advertisements according to recruitment needs and manage job portals accordingly
Ensures the efficient recruitment according to department needs
Manages recruitment processes where relevant (CV selection, phone screens, interview coordination with dept. managers, job offer confirmation, new employee preparations etc.)
Creates and sends offer letter to the newcomers
Manages the Induction training for all newcomers with the necessary support from the HR Executive
Manages HR recruitment reporting for statistics when necessary
Employee experience
Send internal communications on local HR topics
Keeps up to date special initiatives such as birthdays and anniversaries recognitions
Organizes the onboarding events monthly
Keeps the HR Sharepoint appealing and up to date
Provides support to employees & managers on employee lifecycle activities, from recruitment to offboarding, including working permit administration.
Guarantee a satisfactory employee experience.
Answer employees queries when needed.
HRIS/Workday/Reports (as second step)
·Responsible for Workday accuracy
· Undertake all administration task relevant to HR on Workday
· Uploads each employee's contract and personal documents into their WD personal file
· Check the time off administration and make any required adjustments
· Assist team managers and employees on Workday general usage
· Responsible for downloading HR reports from the HRIS, manipulating them as needed, and distributing them to relevant parties.
HR Projects
Provides the support to the HR Manager where required
Essential:
Passionate and willing to develop in the HR function
Experience working with an HR Information System, ideally Workday
Master Degree qualification is a plus
Ability to plan, prioritize and deliver multiple tasks simultaneously
Positive, "can do", flexible attitude
Fluent in Italian and English written and spoken
Home based in Rome
