About the role As part of our growth, we are recruiting an HR specialist to support our business in Italy. With your proven HR experience in Italy, you bring your experienced HR skills, knowledge of HR policy, and enthusiasm for an HR career to propose and implement HR solutions at the national level. You will perform a variety of tasks in the field of talent acquisition, personnel administration, compliance, and rewards, and employee benefits. Key responsibilities: Talent Acquisition: As a Recruiter, you will build a motivated, well-balanced, and multicultural workforce to grow the BYD business in Italy. In this role, you will lead recruitment projects with partners from various business units (including electrical buses, forklifts, trucks, and passenger cars). You will handle the full recruitment cycle process from talent planning to negotiating the offer and employee onboarding. You will plan and execute employee onboarding sessions both online and in person. Additionally, you will coach hiring managers in interviewing and recruitment best practices, providing an inclusive and positive candidate experience. You will also serve as a liaison with employment agencies, recruitment agencies, universities, student organizations, and industry associations. Personnel Administration: You will administer the day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties. You will play an active role in the inflow, through-flow, and out-flow of a motivated, well-balanced, multicultural workforce. You will act as a contact person for all HR-related matters for our employees. Rewards and Employee Benefits : You will support the HR colleague in developing and implementing reward strategies, processes, and tools, aligned with the HR and business strategy of BYD, and with the aim to attract, motivate, retain, and engage our employees. You will execute the reward system plans and ensure they are current, competitive, and in legal compliance. You will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the compensation information submitted to the finance department and perform data analysis to ensure fair compensation. Office Support: Working closely together with the Operations, you will order office supplies and make arrangements for mobile phones, company cars, laptops, etc. Your profile: Bachelor education level in Human Resources, Business Administration or Finance or equivalent by experience; 3 years of experience within a fast paced and busy HR function; Experience with recruitment, including sourcing; A good knowledge of compensation and benefits practices and principles, and local legislation and regulations; A general understanding of other human resources functionalities; Excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage a demanding workload on a daily basis. Effective and eloquent communicator in English and Italian is mandatory (Chinese languages would be a plus). Experience working in an international, multicultural environment is considered an asset.
