Job Summary Reporting to the HR Country Leader, the Senior HR Generalist will focus on HR processes for multiple plants in Northern Italy including different legal entities and provide local partnership and advice to the local business leaders, while working in close collaboration with the other HR team members. The role will be based in Vignate, with business travel as required to other plants, and will supervise 2 resources.
Responsibilities and duties Execute HR plans, processes and programs aligned with business objectives and overall HR strategy;Contribute to the development of a local business strategy, its implementation and communication through translation into measurable functional and individual objectives.Develop and maintain the local HR policies. Ensure that HR practices and policies comply with statutory/government regulations;Manage onboarding and offboarding processes.Provide local support during annual processes such as PMP (Performance management process), Development Planning, Compensation Planning cycle, Employee Engagement;Support local managers in Organizational design;Collaborate with and provide counsel and coaching to local leadership and managers, individual contributors, other HR team members on critical issues impacting the business and/or work environment to ensure resolution and drive continuous improvement.Monitor the correct application of labor law, CCNL rules and manage disciplinary/litigation procedures.Supervise the Talent Acquisition, Training /& Development, Engagement processes.Support Mergers & Acquisitions HR related activities and relevant change management.Manage internal communication.Requirements and skills Degree in business, organizational development, human resources or other related field or equivalent experience.3 to 8 years progressive HR experience.Demonstrated experience in HR operations combined with a working knowledge and application of compensation, recruitment, performance management.Experience in coaching and mentoring leaders and teams to achieve success.Prior experience working within a complex matrix organization.Knowledge and experience in organizational development, team dynamics, leading and inspiring change in and throughout the organization.Strong communication skills for building trust and relationships – listening, confrontation, situational leadership & coaching.Creativity and initiative with follow through.Drive for results with the ability to balance needs/interests/demands and work in alignment with the objectives of multiple stakeholders.Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements Role based in Vignate and travel required to other company sites in northern Italy.
