Overview:
As an HR Operational Advisor, based in Milan, Italy, you will provide HR Generalist support to managers, employees and HR colleagues across a number of EU countries, in areas such as employment, compensation, employee relations, talent management, benefits, training, and employee/manager shared services by performing the duties personally or in collaboration with HR Colleagues
This role reports a HR Operations Manager based in Germany and while the role supports an employee population across a number of countries there is a predominant focus on Italy. Italian with a professional level of English is required.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provides consultation, guidance, and coaching to managers in areas such as:
- Handling employee relations matters, resolving concerns and reducing risk. Ensures issues are escalated and resolved with urgency
- Contribute to the implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Developing, creating and issuing job offers
- All paperwork in relation to hiring, onboarding, job changes and statutory documents
- Interpreting collective agreements and providing guidance
- Ensure compliance with legislation and regulations and minimize risk
- Providing advice and guidance to managers on a range of employment matters
- Delivers services with process improvement mindset to increase effectiveness and efficiency
- Builds strong partnerships to foster trust and accountability with all stakeholders
Qualifications:
**Education**:
- You hold a degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or equivalent by experience;
**Experience**:
- Good Generalist HR experience including the ability to work at both strategic and operational levels
- Excellent computer skills particularly Microsoft products and HR dbases
**Competencies**:
- Good communication skills and be able to interact with all levels
- A self starter and be able to work independently
- Well organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment, including having the flexibility to adjust and react to changing priorities
**Language**
- Italian and English.
- German language would be advantageous but not essential
