Purpose of the jobSupport the HR team in both generalist and analytical tasks, with a focus on optimizing HR processes in particular data analysis and Time & Attendance (T&A) management.
The intern will assist in both operational and strategic HR activities, contributing to the overall improvement of business performance.The HR Intern will be involved in:Support the HR team in day-to-day activities and strategic projects with a focus on data analysis and process optimization;Assist in the creation, maintenance, and analysis of HR KPIs dashboards to support decision-making;Provide support in HR budgeting and ensure timely management of monthly purchasing orders;Handle daily Time & Attendance (T&A) routine tasks, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting;Handle with increasing autonomy all activities related to Internal Communication (e.g., Newsletter, Digital Boards, Town Hall organization, email campaigns);Support in organizing periodic events at the site (e.g., Family Day, Charity events, IWD, Rise Against Hunger, Movember, Special Visitors Site Tours);Lead or contribute to small projects focused on process improvement (e.g., updating JDs, Training Matrix, Employee Handbook);Ensure the Training Database is maintained and updated regularly;Perform weekly data accuracy checks in HR systems (e.g., Workday) to ensure proper payroll execution;Support HR projects and initiatives related to employee engagement, recruiting, and other HR functions as needed.Soft SkillsProactive attitude;Networking skills;Strong communications skills;Team working;Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.Hard SkillsEU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included);Education: Master/Bachelor degree in Economics, Business Administration, Psychology;Strong MS Office skills (great command of Excel and Power Point);Knowledge of HR systems like Workday is a plus;Familiarity with Time & Attendance management and related tools is a plus;(Preferred) Proficiency in Canva for creating visuals;Language knowledge: proficient in English and Italian.Professional AttributesConfident / Ability to give pushback: You're a go getter, you're not easily thrown off your game, not even when you get resistance.Ability to Simplify: We like to keep it simple.
