We are looking for a HR Generalist as a key team member in our Human Resources department, reporting directly to the HR Manager and working closely with the Assistant Manager and payroll team. This role is specifically tailored to support the unique environments of Splendido and Splendido Mare.
The individual will embody our passion for excellence while adapting to the dynamic needs of both hotels.
Main duties and responsibilities: Recruitment Support: Assist with recruitment efforts, focusing on candidate screening and interview scheduling, to attract talent aligned with the luxury service standards of Belmond and LVMH.Onboarding and Training Administration: Support the coordination and administration of training programs that maintain LVMH's exceptional service ethos.Employee Relations Support: Provide administrative support and assist with employee relations activities, fostering a positive and respectful work environment reflective of LVMH's high-end service culture.HR Administration and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate employee records and provide general administrative support to the HR department. Prepare reports related to HR metrics, such as employee turnover and training completion rates.Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing and administration, ensuring accuracy and timely payment for employees.Compliance Support: Provide support in ensuring compliance with local employment laws and LVMH's ethical standards.Performance Management Administration: Provide administrative support for performance management processes.Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other departments to support seamless service delivery.Special Projects: Participate in HR projects as assigned, contributing to initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and retention.Requirements: Who You Are: Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree in Human Resources or Hospitality Management is a plus. Candidates with experience working with employment agencies will also be considered.Experience: Prior experience in a structured, international organization is preferred. Experience in the hospitality industry, particularly within luxury hotels or resorts, is highly desirable.Passion and Drive: A genuine enthusiasm for HR and a strong desire to contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced environment like the luxury hospitality sector. High energy and a proactive, can-do attitude are essential.Adaptability: Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a demanding, ever-evolving setting. Experience handling diverse situations within a high-end resort environment is a plus.Communication Skills: Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English. Additional languages are a plus.Collaboration: A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, interacting positively with other departments.Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
