This position is based in Valbembro, Italy focused on supporting employees globally.
You'll collaborate most often with fellow HR Generalists, HR Specialists, and of course our diverse employee population.

In addition to supporting the divestment process, this role will be instrumental in shaping the strategy for HR Operations, anchored in a leader-led business model.

Your responsibilities Recruit talented individuals to join FLSmidth Onboard new hires by coordinating pre-hire activities and delivering orientation Input quality data into Workday, advise employees and managers on the system process flow, and monitor data flowing into payroll Draft and deliver communication related to HR processes/benefits/policies Assist with compensation, benefits, and leave of absence related activities Triage employee relations issues, managing common or routine issues and escalating more complex cases Conduct investigations, review policies, and gather relevant information Ensure compliance with local labor laws, unions and other regulatory agencies Partner with leadership to conduct workforce reorganizations Promote positive employee relations through design, communication, and interpretation of human resources policies and programs Act proactively to analyze data, prepare reports, and make recommendations Champion new ideas, manage change, and execute on action plans Participate in HR projects as assigned What you bring Fluency in English and Italian required Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Communication, or similar (equivalent experience will also be considered) 5+ years of experience in an HR role strongly preferred Previous experience with Italian unions and labor law required Eagerness to operate at the global level, with the proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to employment norms in each of the countries we operate in Solution-oriented approach with a big picture mindset Active HR certification or the ability to acquire a certification within 1 year Strong communication and customer service skills Mastery of Workday preferred Advanced proficiency in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Proactive and efficient approach with strong follow-through Commitment to confidentiality with a high level of integrity Please note, all CV's, resumes, and cover letters must be submitted in English.
