Description and Requirements We are looking for an experienced HR leader supporting our Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) in EMEA.
Reporting directly to the EMEA Executive HR Director, you are a change agent for the business, working across all aspects of the function's remit and owning the implementation and success of HR initiatives for ISG in EMEA.
You will also be a culture custodian to exemplify Lenovo's culture and ways of working.
At this level, we regard you as a source of expertise in the HR arena and count on you for designing and executing HR strategies and providing operational HR excellence.
To be successful in the role, you will need to have worked in a complex matrixed environment, have a proficient level of business acumen, and partner effectively with senior business leaders.
You will directly partner with and support the EMEA ISG Vice President and be part of the leadership team.
What will You do - Job Responsibilities: Work closely with senior managers at EMEA and country level to support their organizational and talent needs to achieve their business objectives.
Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and leaders across the overall organization both within the ISG organization and outside.
Enable business strategies through effective partnerships with the leaders.
Address HR challenges head-on and implement plans to execute the HR priorities for the business.
Drive change and support Lenovo's organizational & cultural transformation together with your business leader.
Coach managers to effectively deal with employee relations matters, inspire, develop, and lead one direct report.
Demonstrate pragmatism and strike mutual solutions with the business leaders.
Demonstrate and leverage the experience, skills, and knowledge of the HR industry to make an impact in key areas such as change management, organizational design, employee engagement, and talent analytics.
Support the managers to implement their people plans for recruitment, training, succession, restructuring, and mitigate risk of potential legal actions.
Partner collaboratively with all HR functions across 38+ countries through the local HR teams, for which a high level of cultural awareness is required.
What should You have - Knowledge and Skills: Proven 8+ years of experience as a Senior HR Manager (experience in sales organization is an advantage).
Ability to efficiently navigate a complex matrixed environment and to communicate business strategy effectively at different levels of the organization.
Good understanding of the many different responsibilities of the function: business partnership, change agent, employee relations, Learning & Development, rewards, compensation & benefits.
Ability to coach mid-career and senior managers in complex business and employee-related challenges.
Experience in Change Management, focused on shifts to culture, leadership, and organizational requirements.
Good leadership, people management skills, and strong problem-solving skills.
