At MBE Italy, we are looking for a people-driven HR Business Partner to align our HR strategy with business objectives and needs of our Directly Operated Stores (DOS) in central and northern Italy. In this role, you will act as a trusted partner for the assigned population (ca. 300 employees) in a multisite context, driving the Retail HR Strategy for the direct channel including workforce planning and recruitment activities, supporting employee development, running onboarding processes, maintaining staff relations, implementing policies and practices, overseeing performance management programs and corrective actions.
**Main responsibilities**
- Partner with the Corporate HR team to develop and deliver the regional HR strategy.
- Promote cross-functional cooperation among corporate functions and retail partners.
- Ensure adherence and administration of all HR policies, and guidelines.
- Guarantee compliance with employment related laws and regulations.
- Measuring operational success through HR metrics, addressing staffing and turnover matters.
- Monitor and manage labor costs to improve profitability.
- Guiding compensation and benefit packages.
- Collaborates with the Learning & Development team to identify training and development needs and implement ad hoc programs.
- Liaise with the Legal Department on staff health, safety and wellness initiatives
- Work closely with retail partners on strategies for talent management and performance management initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you should be a strategic thinker, but also a hands-on team player with a good understanding of the retail industry and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
**Requirements**:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Law, Human Resources management or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in a HR Generalist/Business Partner role within structured HR departments.
- Sound knowledge of national collective labor agreement in the commercial sector.
- Good command of HR Information Systems (previous experience with SAP SuccessFactors will be an advantage) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Ability to liaise with different stakeholders at all levels within the organization
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Resilience, organizational autonomy, attention to detail and communication sensitivity will also be important;
- Enthusiasm and team spirit.
- Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
- Able to travel frequently (up to 40%) and work independently
- Hold a valid driver's license
