Hauptaufgaben Incumbent explains employment/recruitment procedures to applicants/employees/management. Assists specialists in receiving and processing recruitment actions. Assures all regulatory guidelines and local procedural requirements are met. Screens AutoNOA tickets for newly received actions for accuracy and to determine the nature of staffing action. Reviews position build information for accuracy and completeness and coordinates with management regarding questions or discrepancies. Converts ticket to RPA and establishes recruitment case file folder. For actions that require classification review and action, forwards to classifier for appropriate action. Coordinates with supervisor to initiate strategic recruitment discussion and to obtain additional information when required. Conducts initial screening to identify if candidates in priority groups need to be cleared. Prepares announcements, evaluates applications, and prepares referral list for lower graded, unskilled positions. Reviews supervisors' selection to ensure proper adherence to referral categories and merit principles and extends job offers to selected candidates once cleared by the HR Specialist. As required, coordinates fitness for duty physicals, initiates security checks, and arranges release/entry on duty dates. Completes all in-processing requirements. Composes and prepares routine correspondence. Closes-out recruitment case file using checklist. Assures system tracker (PET) is kept up-to-date and error free. Assists HR Specialist in coding the full range of personnel actions. Utilizes DOD/Army/USAREUR unique software such as DCPDS to receive, route and process actions. He/she files a variety of materials in Official Personnel Folders (OPFs). Incumbent advises managers on regulations regarding allowances. Receives all allowance requests and supporting documentation, reviews for adequacy and accuracy and forwards to classifier for approval. Coordinates as appropriate with managers and finance once an allowance decision is received. Assists HR Specialists by providing administrative and technical support work in all matters of the Local National Reduction in Force area. Reviews data in OPF or automated database to identify potential errors or discrepancies for HR Specialist reconciliation. Maintains records and pertinent case files to allow full tracking of all activities in case input for labor court cases is required.
Tour of duty is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 08.00 to 17.00, including a 1-hour uncompensated lunch break.

EXPERIENCE:
At the UA-04 grade level, applicants must have a minimum of 1 year of Specialized Experience equivalent to at least the UA-05 grade level.
At the UA-03 grade level, applicants must have a minimum of 1 year of Specialized Experience equivalent to at least the UA-04 grade level.
Specialized Experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.?
