We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our busy HR team and support on Employee Relations case management along with providing broader specialist support on Human Resource related queries to our workforce.
You will be instrumental in driving the strategic HR agenda to continually improve colleague experience whilst mitigating risk and creating a platform for future growth.
Responsibilities Providing all aspects of generalist HR advice including disciplinary grievance and performance management and coaching line managers through the process. Supporting line managers with absence management and any long term welfare discussions and occupational health reviews. Being a point of escalation for more complex employee relations cases. Leading TUPE activity. Conducting exit interviews. Undertaking ad hoc projects in line with company objectives. Working with the HRD to create and implement colleague engagement initiatives. Reviewing policies and processes to ensure they are fit for purpose. Maintaining up to date knowledge of developments in Employment Law Case Law and HR best practice and making necessary recommendations. Driving the strategic Learning and Development agenda. Working closely with the Payroll Manager. Be a key point of contact with ACAS. Deputising for the HR Director in their absence. What are we looking for 3 years (or more) of experience in a HR Advisor capacity. Strong influencing and interpersonal skills with proven ability to quickly build relationships with stakeholders. Articulate innovative and challenging mindset with strong collaborative style yet unafraid to challenge where necessary. Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to work with high case loads. Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
