We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Hotel Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our prestigious property.
Villa Torre Bianca by Emily Hotels is a boutique five star hotel in Puglia, set on a sprawling 50-acre private countryside estate surrounded by 2,400 olive trees.
Located 15 minutes from the beautiful seaside town of Polignano a Mare, this historic property with modern updates boasts a collection of 12 beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites overlooking our private gardens.
The villa, set across three buildings, also boasts an outdoor swimming pool, indoor tv room, gym, office, sauna, spa treatment room, and restaurant serving daily continental breakfast and a menu of seasonal, local cuisine.
Please note, this is a seasonal role from April to Oct but could lead to a full time position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: · Guest Experience & Relations: Lead and manage the guest experience to ensure exceptional service standards.
Greet, meet, and farewell guests ensuring their needs are anticipated and met with the utmost professionalism.
Handle guest complaints and feedback tactfully, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with the hotel's high standards.
· Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the hotel.
Ensure smooth functioning of all departments by coordinating with department leads and ensuring all policies and procedures are followed.
Manage and monitor KPIs, schedules, and budgets to ensure operational efficiency and financial performance.
Supervise the scheduling and performance of housekeeping, maintenance, and other staff.
· Team Leadership & Development: Lead and develop a dynamic team, providing ongoing training and development to maintain high service standards.
Manage all employee-related activities, including recruitment, performance evaluations, and disciplinary matters.
· Event Management: Organize and coordinate events, including weddings and special functions, ensuring seamless execution and guest satisfaction.
Work closely with clients and team members to plan and deliver successful events.
· Financial & Sustainability Management: Implement processes and systems to control costs, maximize revenue, and ensure profitability.
Oversee the sustainability initiatives, ensuring the hotel meets all safety and hygiene standards.
· Communication & Reporting: Ensure clear communication across all departments and with external stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position within luxury hospitality brands.
Strong knowledge of Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, and Laundry operations.
Proven experience in managing teams and driving operational excellence.
Hospitality degree or equivalent, with a thorough understanding of luxury service techniques and trends.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality management software.
Fluent in English and Italian; knowledge of an additional European language is a plus.
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and non-verbal).
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to changing schedules.
Additional Information: Work Authorization: Candidates must possess the legal right to work in Italy.
Salary range: €1,800-€2,300 a month, depending on experience.
