Descrizione Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Homologation Engineering Expert Professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Pistoia, IT.

Mission The professional profile is related to activities in the certification/authorization process for placing in service of railway vehicles in Italy and abroad in accordance with current EU directives on the subject.
This profile is integrated into the Certification Dept. which ensures all the necessary authorizations from the relevant National Safety Authorities, in Italy and abroad, in order to carry out commercial service. Furthermore, the Certification Dept. ensures the identification, availability, continuous updating and internal propagation of the regulations / laws for the authorization of vehicles.
Accountabilities Preparation of the list of documents to be produced and the list of applicable rules in order to obtain the Authorization from the National Safety Agency for the specific contract.Issue of the Homologation Dossiers, verification of compliance with regulatory requirements and related documentation.Management with company internal departments in order to closure certification items.Interface with Third party entities (NoBo, ISA, etc.).Required Skills/Knowledge Study and evaluation of the technical specifications, norms and standards.Ability to relate with technical figures and study technical items.Management of technical documentation.Issuing of technical dossiers.Management and monitoring activity planning.Decision-making and planning skills.Information management capacity.Ability to manage relationships (negotiation skills, communication skills, teamworking).Education Master's Degree in Engineering.
Languages
Fluent Knowledge of English (written & spoken).
