Mission
RINA Consulting – Centro Sviluppo Materiali is looking for a Laboratory Engineer to join the "Full Scale Testing" Laboratory team. The laboratory conducts mechanical tests on components or parts of components in their real dimensions, verifying functionality, performance, and operational limits under real working conditions, and in the realization of high-pressure plants for full-scale tests relevant to the Oil & Gas sector (e.g., ductile fracture propagation tests on pipelines in the presence of gas, hydrogen pressure cycling on pipes, etc.). There are frequent tests on real-sized components for the Aerospace & Defense sector and other application sectors.
Job Responsibilities Design tests and associated plants Conduct compliance tests according to European and international standards based on the tested component, defining the test layout and procedure Perform special tests according to specifications defined by the Client and/or Manufacturer Generate test reports in English Define technical specifications and/or design testing equipment Periodically verify the calibration status of the instrumentation in use, managing the instrument park to maintain efficiency and calibration Collaborate with other team members to carry out work and solve any issues Education
