Job Description: A Technical Representative (Tech Rep, also referred to as Functional User Rep or Business System Engineer) represents operations towards IT, and IT towards the operations assuring operational requirements are supported by UPS' IT systems while safeguarding operational requirements follow global IT standards.
What you'll do As a Technical Representative (Tech Rep), you will possess strong analytical and business process modelling skills, and you can propose, test and implement Healthcare supply chain solutions in our Warehouse Management systems and Shipping Applications.You will receive extensive training on these applications and be trained on healthcare process compliance.You will be supporting the analysis, design, configuration, testing, and deployment of UPS' Next Generation global order- and warehouse-management system (project name Helix).You will be part of a cross-functional team supporting the migration of existing UPS healthcare clients to the Helix platform.We expect a high level of autonomy in the projects you work on, collaborating closely with our clients, Tech Reps for other UPS applications, Industrial Engineering, IT, QA, Operations, and Project Management. You will be working for the UPS Healthcare global business unit.What you'll need Education: Preferably a Bachelor in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology or related engineering.Experience with requirements engineering, functional and user acceptance testing, and process modeling.At least 1+ years in a role as an industrial engineer, analyst or consultant in a supply chain management environment. Experience in Healthcare Logistics is a big plus.Strong knowledge of operational methods and procedures in a supply chain management environment and knowledge of SCM systems (OMS, WMS, TMS).Strong communication and presentation skills. Be able and willing to travel.Excellent working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. MS Visio experience is preferred.
