About the role
The Quality Engineering for the heating platform is responsible for supporting the Development Team and production in driving Quality activities for new product development, starting from the early phases of the project until ramp-up in production, as well as routine production or projects (e.g., process relocations or change requests). This position ensures that Quality problems are effectively and preventively addressed and that Quality standards are implemented and adhered to within the production facility. The Internal Quality Engineer enhances customer satisfaction through coordination with the Engineering team in the correction/improvement of products and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Heating Quality Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
Being part of a cross-functional development team defining and ensuring the respect of Quality targets by evaluating criticalities from market analysis, reliability/endurance results, audits (1st, 2nd, and 3rd party), and homologations of new products to define and deploy the proper actions with the team. Supporting Engineering for qualification of new parts, processes, and/or equipment through data collection and analysis. Ensuring that the main critical features of components for safety and function are properly identified and reported in the technical documentation for the correct management by suppliers and manufacturing. Following the scale-up of the project in production, monitoring the results of line tests, leading working teams in problem-solving initiatives, and issuing the necessary Quality documentation. Participating in the improvement of the manufacturing process for existing products. Developing, modifying, applying, and maintaining quality evaluation, control systems, and protocols. Providing analysis and explanations of testing and inspection plans, methods, and technologies to assure reliability and conformance of products and processes. Analyzing and making recommendations for corrective actions for nonconformities and/or design problems for internally produced products and processes. Utilizing PPAP core elements (e.g., PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans) to identify and make recommendations for managing risk in product development. Managing processes to ensure all requirements are met for work transfer and process change management, including Resourcing Gate and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) acceptance. Reviewing process control documentation to ensure it complies with requirements, objectives, and/or contracts. Requirements:

A degree in mechanical or industrial engineering. Quality assurance experience is appreciated but not a must-have. Good team player skills to collaborate with various departments (e.g., production, engineering, and support). Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
