Job Title: Healthcare Informatics - Technical Support Specialist
Job Description: Technical Support Specialist You will act as a subject matter expert providing support and working on the resolution of escalated cases in Radiology Informatics systems in Europe.
Your role: You will work with highly innovative software solutions in Radiology Informatics, resolving technical barriers that are critical to improving the diagnosis of patients and saving lives. You will make the most of your technical and analytical skills to troubleshoot informatics solutions at any level (HW, SW, Database, Network).In this highly collaborative and customer-oriented role, you will work directly with our customers in Europe to solve technical issues based on escalated cases, collaborating with our Customer Service organization and working with R&D teams to improve solutions.This role offers you the opportunity to be part of one of the most competent European Customer Service teams, responsible for Europe HCIS (Healthcare Information Solutions) Incident and Problem Management, based in our Informatics Hub in Genoa.From a compelling set of learning and development opportunities to a flexible and international working environment, a career at Philips comes with all sorts of wonderful benefits aimed at the unique purpose of improving healthcare and people's lives. You're the right fit if: You have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Biomedical Engineering, or an equivalent combination of related experience and education.You have acquired 2-3 years of experience in Informatics, especially as a systems administrator.Your skills include knowledge of IT infrastructure components including Servers, Storage Appliances, Network Appliances, Security Appliances, and related technologies.Additional skills and experience with Database (Oracle/SQL), Microsoft 2012/2016/2019 Server, Hyper-V technologies, and IT-related medical standards (e.g., DICOM, Health Level Seven (HL7), and Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE)) are particularly valued as nice to have.You have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and are passionate about customer success and problem-solving.
