Health And Safety Manager - Rome (Italy) or Larnaca (Cyprus)Location: CWGC Office in Rome (Italy) or in Larnaca (Cyprus)Contract Type: PermanentWe are currently looking for a Health and Safety Manager based in Cyprus (Larnaca) or Rome (Italy) that would lead the implementation of a uniform Health and Safety (HS) management system across all CSEA countries, ensuring adherence to local HS legislation and fostering a strong safety culture throughout the Area.What you'll be doingDevelop and maintain the CSEA Health and Safety Management system, ensuring compliance with legislation, Global Standards, ISO 45001, and CWGC policies and procedures.Act as the principal point of contact for external HS professionals, including consultants and occupational health professionals, and manage their performance effectively.Provide assistance to the Area regarding environmental and sustainability issues, ensuring alignment with health and safety objectives.Regularly report on the current health and safety performance of the business to relevant stakeholders.Drive a positive safety culture across the Area, fostering awareness and engagement among employees.Keep abreast of existing, new, and emerging legislation, leading projects to ensure compliance in consultation with internal and external stakeholders.Develop an annual monitoring plan and oversee incident investigation processes, ensuring timely action is taken where necessary.Manage the content and flow of regular health and safety communications, engaging employees and promoting positive health and safety practices.Develop and present a strategic health and safety plan to the Senior Management Team, overseeing its successful implementation.Conduct audits and inspections of sites, identify areas for improvement, and report findings to relevant stakeholders.Coordinate the update and maintenance of the Areas Health and Safety Manual and associated documentation.Manage and monitor delegated budgets, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and achievement of health and safety goals.Develop and manage global risk assessments, support Area Directors with local HS action plans.Promote and develop a Safety Culture, undertake environmental, health, and safety planning, and prepare Business Continuity Plans when necessary.What you need to haveMore than 5 years of experience in international/European Health and Safety (HS) rolesStrong communication skills both written and verbal in English and preferably also in Italian or German or GreekIT ProficiencyProven track record in creating, implementing, and managing multi-site HS management systems, preferably with international experienceQualified to NEBOSH Diploma level or equivalent with significant HS Management experienceHolds a Master degree in engineering or equivalent field/a BSc/BA in safety management or relevant field is preferredWhat We OfferFlexible working arrangementsCompetitive salaryVarious benefits depending the Country #J-18808-Ljbffr
