Health and Safety Engineer - RomeOn behalf of a major PMC, I am looking for a Health and Safety Engineer to work in Rome on a contract basis.
This will be a long-term contract, based residentially in Rome, paying an hourly rate in USD.The role will be supporting the development of a large Petrochemical facility, which is currently in FEED stage.Please note: You must have the right to work in the EU.Job Duties:Provide guidance, advice, monitoring, and assistance to the organisation with compliance to corporate safety and environmental requirements.Liaise with the FEED/EPC contractor to ensure that all fire and safety related systems within the facility meet company, project, and international standards.Confirm that materials, systems, equipment, and structures meet the safety requirements of the company, project, and international standards.Verify installation of the various systems at site and provide support during pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of the systems.Candidate Requirements:Engineering Degree.10-15 years of relevant experience in large to mega projects.Thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, and design details.Good working knowledge of PMC standards and procedures and International standards.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written (training, presentations, report writing).If you meet the requirements and wish to know more, please apply.
