We are looking for a head waiter (m/f/d) with immediate effect to strengthen our team.
The Jägerstuben and Fischerstuben are our main restaurant and have awarded two Michelin stars and two diamonds in the Varta Guide.
Both our 5-course half-board and à-la-carte meals are served here.
At peak times, up to 200 guests are served at the same time in our restaurant premises.
Your responsibilities will extend to afternoons and late evenings in addition to lunch & dinner.
Breakfast is also part of this, but we have an additional team here, which is partly supported by the service personnel and apprentices.
Nevertheless, this area is also subject to your area of responsibility.
In addition to the restaurant area, you will also be responsible for our EidenSpa Bistro, room service, and conference service.

As a head waiter (m/f/d) you will be in charge of our Jäger and Fischerstuben.

Your tasks Managing your own station in the restaurant Managing the restaurants in the pension, à la carte, banquet, and conference services Advising our guests on wine, spirits, and food and creating a feel-good atmosphere for our guests Placement of guests in the evening service Daily, duty and holiday planning Coordination and optimization of procedures Regular training for all staff in their own area Checking the work of the service staff (compliance with checklists and work instructions, mise en place) Collaboration in the preparation of the beverage and menu cards as well as seasonal offers Daily coordination with the head chef and the banquet sales department Contact person for guest complaints Participation in regular meetings, leading team meetings Appraisal & job interviews Ensuring and monitoring consistent service standards within the framework of the specified quality management system Creation and further development of guidelines and standards for the trainees, or adherence to the already given standards Participation in the receipt of goods and control of the stock of goods through regular stocktaking Compliance with and control of HACCP guidelines Your profile Completed vocational training and two years of professional experience in the catering or hotel industry Management experience desirable as well as the ability to motivate a team of up to 20 people Distinctive host mentality Trainer aptitude test according to AEVO Leadership experience in instructing the staff under your supervision Very good German language skills, ideally English language skills Neat appearance and a sense of cleanliness in the workplace Exemplary manners, confident appearance, charm, flexibility High quality awareness and creativity for your work environment Commitment, flexibility, ability to work under pressure and organizational skills Very good knowledge of wine, especially from Germany, Italy, France, and Spain Good knowledge of common cheeses would be an advantage (e.g.
