Join us as a **Head of UX/UI Design**
**What you will be doing**
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of UX/UI Design to join our team.
As the Head of UX/UI Design, you will be responsible for overseeing the UX/UI team in their day-to-day work, ensuring their integration within cross-functional squads, and enabling them to track and understand the impact of their work on the company's objectives.
The Head of UX/UI Designer will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the company.
As a key member of the technology leadership team, you will collaborate closely with all the directors in the company to align UX/UI initiatives with the company's overall technological vision and strategy.
In detail, you will:
- Lead and mentor a team of talented UX/UI designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.
- Define and implement the overall UX/UI design strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to gain insights into user behavior and preferences.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and solutions.
- Continuously iterate and optimize designs based on user feedback, usability testing results, and industry best practices.
- Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and coherence across all products and platforms.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and design tools to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

You have:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (+10 years) in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design expertise and leadership capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and design thinking methodologies.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating insights into actionable design solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.

The role is based in Milan with a hybrid working policy.
We offer a competitive salary, commensurate with experience.
