To strengthen our team in the Sourcing Department at our office in Milan/ Italy, we are looking for a committed and motivated person to join the Wolford team as soon as possible as Head of Sourcing (f/m/d) Full-Time In this role, an exciting and wide-ranging area of responsibility awaits you and offers plenty of scope for management and continuous development of the producer base of Wolford's third party sourcing and fabric/yarn portfolio.
Your Tasks: Development of a reliant supplier base for production of Wolford premium products in the Cut & Sew and Knitwear segment.
Leading contract negotiations including payment terms, delivery conditions, prices, minimums and production capacities.
Selecting and searching new producers and ensure their onboarding.
Analysing procurement cost and drive cost reduction measures accordring to margin targets Managing the sourcing budget and controlling operational cost Leading the sourcing team Driving an efficient make or buy process Driving innovation through sourcing new fabrics and yarns Your Profile : Garment technician/engineer or similar education with strong commercial know-how Extensive sourcing experience in fabrics, yarns, sportswear and ready-to-wear, preferably in the luxury sectore Knowledge in product development and processing Technical fabric and yarn knowledge is a must for this position Good negotiation and communication skills Willingness to travel English spoken and written, every other language is a plus MS-Office knowledge Strong leadership skills A flexible, dynamic and proactive personality What We Offer: A dynamic, international company and pioneer in the field of quality and circular economy (C2C) An environment that is moving to the leading technologies within the Fashion industry Discount for all employees on Wolford products and merchandise An exciting challenge in an innovative company that can also look back on a long tradition You will be part of a committed team Join the world of Wolford.
