Head of SL Deals & Promotions, EU Amazon Fashion DESCRIPTION This role is flexible on location in any of our EU6 Corporate offices.
At Amazon Fashion's EU Marketing team, we are obsessed with making Amazon Fashion one of the most loved fashion destinations in Europe (and globally).
As part of this mission, we are looking for a Head of Deals & Promotions who will lead commercial and program work streams for key events like Black Friday, Prime Day, Seasonal Sales, Back to School, etc.
This role owns the vision and roadmap for SL Promotions, including the commercial event strategy and goals in alignment with the broader business objectives.
The successful candidate will create and deliver the specific and strategic commercial goals for each event, planning of the customer proposition and working with marketing, product, and category teams to deliver against set targets.
Job Responsibilities The Head of Deals & Promotions will manage a high degree of complexity, financial risk, and responsibility.
The position is responsible for bringing innovation, planning, operational excellence, and growth to our largest shopping days and across multiple initiatives throughout the year.
It requires a strong analytical understanding, the capability of diving deep into data, and the ability to deliver cohesive commercial propositions across multiple events within the year.
Other responsibilities include scaling and shaping SL-led Seasonal Sale Events, partnering with the Retail Category Excellence team to improve deals as a tool for inventory management, and delivering X-PF deals initiatives as a member of the central Retail Deals Team.
This role is highly visible and requires a high degree of influence cross-category, cross-channel, and cross-function.
You will prepare and contribute to working backwards documents, present to senior leadership, and work with many partner teams: Retail and 3P business teams, Finance, Central Marketing Team, CX teams, Pan EU Tools, and WWW Promotions team, influencing and advocating for Softlines peculiar use cases.
You must be comfortable working both at the strategic level (this position has regular exposure to leadership and key stakeholders) and diving deep into implementation as needed (managing initiatives, writing business requirements, and analyzing data).
The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, bringing strong curiosity to understand the complexity of how deals work, dive deep, and think big to find topline growth opportunities, define strategic plans, and invent and simplify to improve tools and processes.
This role requires an individual with strong leadership capabilities, strong commercial and financial acumen, and expertise in building and managing clear plans.
