THE POSITION
We are currently looking for our new Head of Security & Crisis Management for our country located in Milan. You will be accountable and responsible for developing, managing, and implementing programs in security and incident/crisis management within the country, including asset protection, site security, supply chain, information protection, travel event security, and crisis management.
This position maintains frequent communications with the country Executive Committee, site Directors, and the regional Security lead as well as Corporate Security & Crisis Management. This is a Head Office position that requires a minimum of 3 days per week onsite in Milan.
Tasks & Responsibilities Act as the single point of contact for Italy Security lead and Corp Security & Crisis Management regarding all related matters, including the implementation of new corporate regulations. Ensure the performance of the required activities in all areas of security, e.g., protection of employees, sites, event security, travel security, assets as well as information and intellectual property caused by intentional acts at any time. Ensure the preparedness of all incident/crisis teams in Italy, including site incident response teams. Ensure a timely exchange of information and required reporting (in the field of security as well as incident/crisis management) to different stakeholders. Coordinate the crisis management team of Italy connecting with the response teams of the Italian production sites. Conduct crime-related investigations where required. Requirements Significant practical experience in corporate security. Good knowledge of related standards from Corp. Security/Crisis Management and national legislation. Working knowledge of requirements by local/regional authorities in the field of Security/Incident/Crisis Management. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong negotiation skills, resilience, and self-motivation. Solid experience in problem-solving and decision-making processes under pressure.
