We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Head of Sales to lead our sales efforts and drive growth through both direct sales and strategic partnerships.Position Overview:The Head of Sales at Apparound will be responsible for developing and executing a robust sales strategy, managing the sales team, and driving revenue growth.
This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage direct sales activities, find and manage their own sales opportunities, and foster relationships with business partners to enhance our indirect sales channels.General tasks Responsibilities:Sales Strategy and Execution:Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve company objectives.Set and meet sales targets and performance goals.Identify new opportunities in the market and stay informed about industry trends.Team Leadership and Management:Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.Provide leadership, direction, and motivation to the sales team.Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.Direct Sales Management:Lead the direct sales process from prospecting to closing deals.Proactively find and manage your own sales opportunities.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects.Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals.Indirect Sales and Partnerships:Establish and maintain relationships with business partners and channel partners.Develop and implement partner programs to drive indirect sales.Collaborate with partners on joint marketing and sales initiatives.Sales Operations:Oversee sales operations, including CRM management, sales forecasting, and reporting.Ensure the implementation of effective sales processes and methodologies.Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to align efforts and achieve company objectives.Provide market feedback to the product team for continuous improvement of the product offerings.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).Proven experience in a senior sales role within a B2B SaaS or technology company.Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Deep understanding of both direct and indirect sales channels.Knowledge and experience of the current sales software marketplace, such as CRMs, ERP, and CPQ systems.Exceptional ability to autonomously find and manage sales opportunities.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools.Superior oral and written Italian and English communication skills (additional European languages would be ideal).Resilient, willing to learn, and have a hunger to do what it takes to succeed.Ability to travel in Italy or abroad if needed.
