Management of and responsibility for the global RD Resins Team.
Build up a new competence center for resin synthesis and formulation.
Supervise and coordinate all resin related R&D projects in USA, Europe, Asia and India.
Upgrade existing products and develop new products based on customer needs and market trends.
Contribute to the evaluation of potential business cases based on product upgrades/new product developments.
Coordination of daily businessbetween local R&D teams.
Planning and implementation of systems that efficiently fulfill the department's work and goals.
(in coordination with Director Global R&D).
Implement and adapt the R&D processes to the requirements of IATF certification.
Implementation and coordination of development tasks for the product line resins.
Manage complex development projects using project management tools to improve results.
Involvement in innovation management (evaluation of ideas, patent research and claim analysis).
Participation in technical committee, publications, technical conferences, contact with universities & institutes.
YOUR PROFILE.
Graduate / PHD:
Chemistry, chemical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years professional experience in chemical R&D with leadership experience.
Experience in Polymer / Organic chemistry and synthesis and formulation of resins.
Proven track record regarding initiating and implementing new product developments.
Strong project management skills.
Knowledge in project management according to IATF 16949.
Highly motivated and strong spirit for driving innovation and thinking out of the box.
English and Local language (Italian).
Willingness to travel (20%).
