Our customer is a world leading distributor in technologies related to renewable energy and electric mobility. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Product Development to lead the product development team, drive innovation, and ensure the successful delivery of products that align with the company's goals and objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of innovative and market-leading products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, QC, Communication, Sales, and Customer Care, to create and deliver exceptional products that meet customer needs and drive business growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Product Development Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product development strategy in alignment with the company's overall business objectives. Lead a cross-functional team, including R&D, Quality Control, and product managers, to execute the product development plan. Market Analysis: Keep informed about industry trends, competitor products, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for new product development. Conduct market research and consumer surveys to gather insights for product ideation. Product Development: Collaborate with R&D team to refine concepts. Implement rigorous quality control processes to ensure product consistency and safety. Address any product quality issues promptly and effectively. Project Management: Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet product launch deadlines. Monitor and track progress, addressing any issues or delays proactively. Supplier Management: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts and establish strong relationships with key partners. Team Development: Train, recruit and mentor team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Set clear performance objectives and provide regular feedback and evaluations. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Master's degree in Economics or Engineering. Proven experience (5+ years) in electronics product development, including a track record of successfully launching products in the electric industry, preferably in B2B distribution market. Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends. Strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and regulatory requirements in the beauty industry. Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and using insights to drive decisions. Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
