They are currently on the lookout for their very first Operations Investor, a pivotal role that involves spearheading strategic support in their portfolio companies, with a specific focus on the project management phase.

**? The Role**:
As a Head of Operations, you won't just oversee operations, you'll be a visionary driving the very heartbeat of the ventures.
With your hands on the wheel, you'll guide their projects from concepts to market leaders.
You'll have a direct line to the CEO, Giuseppe.
- **Pace-Setting**: You will be the heartbeat of their new ventures, dictating the speed of progress and ensuring swift execution.
Your mandate is to keep their teams moving at a breakneck pace.
- **Decision-Making in the Ignition Phase**: Empowered to evaluate and potentially dismiss ventures if the pace, commitment, or outcomes during the **_ignition phase_** are substandard.
Your judgment will be crucial in this high-stakes role.
- **Culture and Process Architect**: Directly responsible for instilling a culture of rigorous OKR, efficient meeting structures, and effective reporting tools.
You will implement the strategies, ensuring operational excellence.
- **Champion of Rapid Iteration**: Oversee a cycle of fast iteration, failure, and pivoting, drawing from our _win-or-die_ methodology while maintaining the processes and tools proven successful in our past ventures.

**About you****:
- You have a sense of urgency to build/invest in long-lasting companies that solve pressing environmental or societal needs because you are tired of the hundreds of useless products on the market;
- You understand you are not going to manage any teams, you will be the only one responsible for project management in our investment firm;
- You have 5+ years of experience in operational roles where speed and innovation were key (1st employee, country manager, COO, Chief of Staff...), preferably in startups or high-growth environments (Big4, consulting, investment banking, private equity...)
- You are very analytical and you're driven by numbers and results, you are good at prioritizing and setting the right goals to measure;
- You thrive in a dynamic, uncertain, fast-paced, and diverse environment.
You are resilient and resourceful with a 'can do' attitude;
- You have an advanced level of spoken and written English;
- You are based or willing to relocate to Milan - Italy, with a chance to frequently travel abroad.
