Our client is an International Company with over 150 years of history and innovation and is specialized in the production of premium Coffee and tea for hotels, restaurants and other businesses.
We are looking for an** HEAD OF** **OPERATION** who, by joining the Company, will report directly to the Italian Managing Director.
In this role you will be a member of the Management Lead Team of the Company and you will lead and manage the pillars of Operations within the **Italian subsidiary**:Supply Chain Management, Back Office/Customer Service, Technical service.

**SKILLS REQUESTED**:
- High school or University Degree or equivalent
- At least 10 years of work experience (_ideally in similar contests, _**_FMCG_**_, production plant and distribution, _**_make to stock_**)
- Experiences as a **Team Leader**:
- Experience in **project management / logistics / **stock rotation management / inventory cost reduction**:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and strong time management and organizational skills, detail-oriented and takes initiative to tackle challenges
- **ERP experience**; _ideally SAP_
- Fluent in **English** / **Italian**:
- Travel up to 20%
**TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- **Manage and direct Operations team **based in **Italy** (SCM, Technical & Back-office and front office sales)
- Provide operational support and guidance to staff and customers
- Maintain constant communication with Group functions, local management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization.
- **Actively pursue strategic and operational **objectives** according to the global principles
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures
- Ensure all legal and regulatory documents and permits are filed and monitor compliance with local laws and regulations
- **Ensure diligent product & material forecasting and resource planning**:
- Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce landing costs per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service
- **Monitor and control expense** according to allocated budget (Capex and Opex)
- Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed in collaboration with local HR dept.
- Conduct performance review and provide performance feedback to staff
- Partner with cross-functional support teams in improving the proprietary tools and systems
