The Head of Marketing will own the Marketing strategy for Content Distribution (Transactional, FTA, Pay & Basic, SVOD and AVOD) within the Italian territory. The key focus will be working alongside the commercial leads and Country Manager to develop and implement Marketing and Branding strategies which ensure all feature film and TV series product is being optimized both commercially and creatively across all distribution windows and formats. The role plays an important part in setting a clear strategic direction for Marketing in the territory and in supporting the Italian team in any additional key commercial priorities and new growth opportunities that will drive consumer engagement. This position based in our Milan office aims at covering at maternity leave for a 8 months' period, starting September 2024-April 2025. The incumbent will report to the Country Manager for our TV Distribution activities in Italy. What you'll do: To drive the Marketing strategy across Home Entertainment and TV Distribution, maximizing opportunities across the region through innovative Marketing activity. Key point of contact for VP Marketing Western Europe, providing clear and consistent territory information and communication that aligns with regional strategy. Maintain full P&L ownership and oversee Marketing budget across all lines of business. Responsible for defining the studio's annual feature film and TV series Marketing and product release strategy for all commercial exploitations outside the theatrical window incorporating all key marketing disciplines – ATL, BTL, PR, social activation. Provide leadership and direction to the Marketing Executive. Act as a close business partner for all TV distribution clients in territory positioning Sony as the go to partner for close collaboration. Determine and manage the efficient timely delivery and approval of promotional assets to and from broadcast and EST partners in market. Work alongside Head of Digital to share and facilitate information and assets from theatrical distribution partner Eagle Pictures in the region. Develop and execute publicity and promotional campaigns across the product slate and ensure there is close collaboration with the SPT PR team to deliver seamless broadcast campaigns for SPTs key shows within the territory. Deliver any trade presentations, pre-sales events, customer events and internal showcases and events to ensure we are communicating a consistent and positive message both internally and externally. Help deliver on each territory's One Sony activities working alongside Electronics, PlayStation and Music to maximize our combined reach as a consumer facing company Maintain high levels of knowledge of technological developments to ensure all marketing activities are fully maximized. Continually evaluate the need for Research, working closely with local Research Executive/Central Research team – understand how to use and interrogate data to enable the most effective pitches and partnerships with clients. Drive and implement regionally supported strategies including product strategy, library focus, Digital Acceleration Project and AVOD Audience Networks. What you have: Typically, 6+ years of experience in strategic Marketing preferably in the entertainment sector. Experience within the Italian market place essential Proven track record in delivering creative, innovative and commercial marketing campaigns in a complex multi-faceted organization or environment Demonstrated success in devising and executing strategic marketing objectives and cascading these objectives and ways of working Business minded, commercially focused and able to understand business plans and control budgets Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects in a dynamic/changing environment and seeing those projects through to completion Strong interpersonal skills required and ability to manage multiple stakeholders Creative and innovative in approach Ability to influence, negotiate and persuade others Self-motivated team player and facilitator Fluent Italian and English is required Availability to travel within Italy and abroad as necessary If you require any reasonable adjustments with any part of the recruitment process, including the application or interview process, please contact us at ******** .
