Position: We are seeking an experienced Head of IT to lead our organization's digital transformation, focusing on transitioning from on-premises infrastructure to a hybrid cloud-native environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and proven ability to coordinate external vendors, IT agencies, and internal development teams.
This is a unique opportunity to lead a strategic digital transformation initiative, collaborate with a dynamic team, and work closely with high-level stakeholders.
The position reports directly to the R&D manager.
Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Drive the company's IT strategy with a focus on cloud adoption and digital transformation.
Develop and execute a detailed roadmap for migrating from on-premises infrastructure to a hybrid cloud environment.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Select and manage relationships with IT service providers and cloud consultants.
Coordinate external IT agencies and internal development teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
Technical Oversight: Provide technical leadership for cloud architecture decisions, with a primary focus on AWS.
Validate and approve cloud-native architecture proposals from vendors and internal teams.
Operational Management: Coordinate IT service delivery across internal teams and external providers.
Monitor operational metrics and ensure SLA compliance.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles.
5 years of experience with cloud technologies and architecture, primarily AWS.
Strong experience in vendor and stakeholder management, including contract negotiations and performance monitoring.
Technical Skills In-depth knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.).
Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS) and DevOps practices.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code and cloud security frameworks.
Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
Preferred Qualifications Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, TOGAF, ITIL).
Familiarity with automotive industry IT requirements.
Experience with additional cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
