Your Responsibilities:
Leads the Grid Edge Solutions Business
Strategy leadership: Develops and implements business strategies for profitable growth, supporting the group strategy.
BudgetPrepares annual operating plans (budgets) and is accountable for their execution and achievement. Holds the primary profit & loss (P&L) responsibility, which includes top-line and bottom-line targets as well as return on capital and cash flow.
Market leadership:Continuously develops and manages the products, solutions, systems and service portfolio to achieve and secure market leadership globally.
Competitiveness:Drives new business activities and start-up initiatives. Ensures competitive design and operation of the value chain/global footprint in line with market specifics.
Global mind-set:Optimizes business on a global scale, taking advantage of the Group's local and global resources and its global reach.
Organization: Defines, in close consultation with corporate, and the countries and regions, an appropriate organizational structure to support execution of the business's strategies, aligned with the corporate goals, imperatives and guidelines.
OHS & integrity: Ensures Hitachi Energy Group Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and integrity standards are maintained throughout business area and acts as a personal role model for the organization.
People Leadership: Builds and foster high-performing and collaborative teams across diverse cultures, environments, and economic situations.

Your Background:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent and a minimum 10 years in the energy sector. Alternative energy experience, renewables and energy storage, a plus.
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
Demonstrated capability in providing leadership in a strong collaborative team environment, driving performance through leveraging the contributions of high performing technical talent and experts with varying functional expertise and across multiple locations
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills at an enterprise level.
Excellent leadership and communication skills with experience in building and managing teams of cross-functional experts
Strong technical operations experience leading a global business with a diverse location footprint across the globe.
Experience leading effective change management and executing transformational initiatives.
Effective leveraging broad networks inside and outside of the organization.
Demonstrate behavior at the executive level to embody Hitachi Energy's core values; Harmony, Sincerity and Pioneering Spirit
Understanding of LEAN or Six Sigma practices and how those practices can be utilized for operational efficiency
Strong track record of successfully delivering innovation to market and driving results using design thinking or similar methodologies.
Full product/solution development lifecycle experience including Agile methodologies
