They conduct strategic planning of the company's financial future and manage financial departments.
By working hand-in-hand with the Accounting Centre of Excellence, they share the responsibility for the financial policies and procedures.Key responsibilities:Develop and implement financial strategies for the companyPrepare and present financial reports and risk analysisSupport the Accounting Centre of Excellence to ensure compliance with financial laws and guidelinesMonitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing resultsManage budgeting and forecasting effortsSupport the Accounting Centre of Excellence in establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controlsSupport the Accounting Centre of Excellence in their interactions with the external and internal auditorsProvide leadership to the finance department teamEngage with senior management to develop short, medium, and long-term financial plans and projectionsOversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as neededOversee the financial strategy and budgeting process of the organizationManage the company's financial planning and risk managementSupport global financial teams in preparing, analyzing and presenting monthly, quarterly and annual financial reportsDevelop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiencySupport the Accounting Centre of Excellence to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standardsCollaborate with senior management to make critical business decisionsManage relationships with banks, investors, and auditorsIdentify opportunities for cost savings and revenue generationLead and manage the finance teamOversee the management of company investmentsQualifications:Experience in financial management and accounting as a Chief Financial Officer, Finance Director or similar roleStrong understanding of financial law and financial risk managementExcellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methodsAbility to strategize and solve problemsStrong leadership and organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAn analytical mind, comfortable with numbersIn-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practicesSolid knowledge of financial analysis and forecastingProficient in the use of MS Office and financial management softwareA certified public accountant (CPA) qualification is desirable but not essentialBSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plusWhat we offer:We offer a comprehensive benefits package along with wellness resources and work-life balance support in line with your country practices and Avon purpose aiming to help you live a healthier life, protect you and your dear ones, and ensure you're at your best.At Avon, we believe beauty is for everyone and that it's beautiful to be you.
