What you'll be doing:
The Head of Finance is responsible for the financial health of the organization.
They conduct strategic planning of the company's financial future and manage financial departments.
By working hand-in-hand with the Accounting Centre of Excellence, they share the responsibility for the financial policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and implement financial strategies for the company
Prepare and present financial reports and risk analysis
Support the Accounting Centre of Excellence to ensure compliance with financial laws and guidelines
Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results
Manage budgeting and forecasting efforts
Support the Accounting Centre of Excellence in establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls
Support the Accounting Centre of Excellence in their interactions with external and internal auditors
Provide leadership to the finance department team
Engage with senior management to develop short, medium, and long-term financial plans and projections
Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed
Oversee the financial strategy and budgeting process of the organization
Manage the company's financial planning and risk management
Support global financial teams in preparing, analyzing and presenting monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency
Support the Accounting Centre of Excellence to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
Collaborate with senior management to make critical business decisions
Manage relationships with banks, investors, and auditors
Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation
Lead and manage the finance team
Oversee the management of company investments
Qualifications:
Financial management and accounting experience as a Chief Financial Officer, Finance Director or similar role
Strong understanding of financial law and financial risk management
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
Ability to strategize and solve problems
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices
Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software
Analytical mind with strategic ability
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
A certified public accountant (CPA) qualification is desirable but not essential
BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
