The demand for this role was driven by the development over the last few years from a local Italian company into a global organization.
While there are no immediate plans to set up additional branches, the Velp company has a strong balance sheet and is open to drive growth through further bold steps.The selected candidate will be part of the executive team, reporting to the CEO.
The main responsibilities will be advising and guiding on the best path of growth for the business and controlling all financial aspects of the company.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: At least 10 years of experience as Head of Finance in manufacturing SME with all disciplines (Sales, R&D, Production)Background of solid admin and financial processesThe Head of Finance shall be a business partner for the CEO and for the management team, giving advice and guidance on the long strategic vision of the company.Experiences with international unitsCapability to simplify complex financial topics and data, educating the audienceFamiliarity with ICT system, SAP is a plusGreat leader and high communication skillsExperience in interacting with C-level members and with different types of stakeholdersSCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The scope and responsibilities of the Head of Finance include:Presenting and reporting accurate financial information of the company to the board and all stakeholders.
This includes working on monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, organizational revenue/expense reporting.Project leader for the annual budget process.Oversee administrative functions across the HQ and the two branches.Develop and monitor the internal control systems designed to report accurate financial results.Interpretation of controlling data, giving advice and guidance on strategic matters.Responsible for the company's overall financial health.
Retain constant awareness of the company's financial position.Participate in developing new business plans (ROI calculation).
This will include working with other key senior persons of the organization to ensure financial and operational success through cost-benefit analysis.Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company's fiscal position, coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.Training and increasing awareness and knowledge related to financial management and cost management matters across the organization.Identify, assess, and respond to ongoing and emerging risks in compliance with regulations and company policies.Leading and supervising the accounts and controlling team.CAREER GROWTH: Joining Velp as the first Head of Finance allows the successful candidate to become a key contributor to the success of the Velp growth.
