ID FG008: Head of Electrical Engineering The figure will be responsible for managing electrical design, coordinating the team of Electrical Technicians (8 people) dedicated to designing industrial plants related to Bottero Flat Glass Upstream and Downstream products. The Head of Electrical Engineering will also be responsible for managing external design studies. The second key activity will consist of coordinating R&D support for the introduction of Eplan design software (introduction of standard libraries), PLM integration, as well as new methodologies and innovative approaches to support cost reduction and workload optimization. We are looking for a candidate interested in managerial growth but with a passion for design, as occasional operational activities will still be necessary in the first year.

The role will offer international visibility with direct interaction with our construction sites worldwide. An enthusiastic and innovative approach to team management will be crucial to driving innovation forward. In particular, the responsibilities will include:
Coordinating R&D for the electrical part Coordinating the work team (8 resources) and external design studies Designing through Eplan software Analyzing and studying design processes and subsequent implementation on-site with the aim of suggesting innovation and optimization Coordinating relationships with other design teams, testing, budgeting, production scheduling, etc. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics, or similar At least 3 years of experience in electrical design coupled with a strong desire for managerial growth and corresponding attitude Availability for occasional short trips (10% of the time) Proficiency in written and spoken English Proficiency in design using Eplan software Previous experience with PLM Knowledge of industrial network architectures (OT) Good communication skills, teamwork abilities, and personal initiative are required, as well as an aptitude for managing the work of other colleagues.
