Head of E-Commerce Are you a strategic leader with a passion for driving digital sales? Can you enhance customer experiences through innovative e-commerce strategies? At MacGregor Black, we are partnering with a leading global marketplace clothing business in the search for a Head of E-commerce. This is a permanent role based in Turin, with a requirement to travel each week.
As the Head of E-Commerce, you will lead and coordinate the e-commerce activities across all of the company's brands. This individual will develop and implement strategies to maximize online sales, improve customer experience, and optimize the efficiency of digital channels. The candidate must be able to work onsite in Italy or be willing to travel as required.
Having experience in information technology and understanding technical terminology is a significant benefit for this role. Additionally, retail experience is preferred, ideally within the fashion industry, though experience in other similar sectors is also welcomed. Familiarity with Google Analytics for performance analysis and Shopify as the e-commerce platform is required, along with team-leading experience.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Development:Define and implement the e-commerce strategy for all brands, aligning it with overall business objectives.Identify growth opportunities, such as market expansion and product diversification.Operational Management:Oversee and optimize e-commerce sites to enhance user experience and drive sales.Work with internal teams and external agencies on marketing campaigns and digital initiatives.Performance and Analysis:Monitor and analyze e-commerce performance using Google Analytics.Make data-driven decisions, manage forecasts, allocate budgets, and optimize resources.Customer Experience:Ensure a smooth, personalized, and consistent online customer experience.Team Management and Cross-Collaboration:Lead a team of e-commerce professionals, fostering collaboration with marketing, sales, IT, and logistics departments.What are we looking for? Degree in Economics, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.5+ years of e-commerce experience, ideally in the fashion retail sector, though other industries will be considered.Fluency in English.Experience with Shopify and Google Analytics.Proven leadership and team management skills.Understanding of IT terminology and relevant technologies is a plus.Ability to work onsite in Italy or willingness to travel.Competitive salary + benefits.
