**Role + Responsibilities**:Responsible for managing a global team for Temperature Engineered Solutions business and taking a proactive role in developing the business.
Head of Department:
- Managing a decentralized team directly involved in the Temperature Engineered Solutions business
- Alignment with global teams in the TS network
- Disciplinary and management of the assigned employees in decentralized locations
- Guiding the Acquisition team in making the best technical / commercial proposals in order to win orders (to support the growth of the TES business in accordance with the strategy)
- Leading the Continuous Improvement focus through the usage of processes, methods & tooling
- Ensuring and participating in the timely preparation of the budget for his main area in compliance with the budget planning guidelines.
Checking compliance with the budget and, if necessary, initiating countermeasures in the event of deviations
Business Development:
- Proactively supporting customer & market activities e.g.
customer visits, seminars, exhibitions, KoM, training, whitepaper presentations, etc.
- Continuous feedback from market to support improvements & efficiencies in other areas outside your responsibility e.g.
feedback to Product Management for product development & life cycle topics / improvement; to operational areas for product development & life cycle topics / improvement; to operational areas for market expectation of delivery; etc.
- Provide information about market opportunities.
- Collaboration and coordination with the Area Management and with the Technical and Strategic Marketing for all the activities mentioned above
- Identify and train the resources that will need to provide such support
- Interfacing with technical and strategic marketing, feeding it with the trends identified on the market and receiving indications on the strategic approach in response to the same
**Qualification + Profile**:Required:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field and at least 7-10 years of related experience in process instrumentation/automation sales or combination of equivalent education and experience.
